Looks like most of the debates I have with my 20 year old sister. But yea, I don't think kids are normally philosophical. Normally things are how they are that makes sense and stuff.
Not that it matters, but the kid is right. Eggs have been around long before chickens. Now if the question was what came first the chicken egg or the chicken that'd be trickier.
